MOUNTAIN OF WORSHIP WEST COAST
Who We Are

Mission and History
Mountain Of Worship was founded by Danny and Karen Steyne in South Carolina in 2003. MOW has since grown to over 50 plants world-wide. The West Coast Base started officially in February of 2015. We are a family of believers, interested in seeing Father God impact and transform the entire Nor Cal Bay Area through intimacy and power.
Our vision is to see small groups and churches planted in 42 cities in the Bay. We believe the Bible means what it says. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. Jesus lived a supernatural life. We are called to do the same-
heal the sick, cast out evil, raise the dead and make disciples of all nations.
Through a relationship with Jesus Christ, the Father works through believers, conforming them to the likeness of Christ and extending the Kingdom of God through them.
Love is the foundation for everything He does, so our primary responsibility is to love Him and let Him love us. Our secondary responsibility is to love our neighbor as ourselves. We see our neighbor as the people in our place of work, our communities, our schools, families, churches, the homeless, the rich and the poor.
We also believe in loving our family (the body of Christ) at large. We are always looking for ways to fellowship with like minded communities.

Sean Scheper has walked with Jesus since a dramatic revelation that changed his life in 2001. He served with YWAM at the World Trade Disaster clean up from 2001-2002. He then went on to lead a team in planting a church in New York City before coming back to pastor at Promised Land Fellowship here in San Francisco until 2010. Sean has also trained and led teams in evangelism, inner-healing and prophetic ministry.
Sean met Danny Steyne while hosting a MOW conference in San Francisco in 2007. They instantly connected and The Lord created a strong bond between them, which has grown over the years. Danny ordained and commissioned Sean in 2014 and MOW West Coast was birthed.
His passion is to train and equip the body of Christ for ministry and see people transformed by the supernatural power of God. His love for people and passion for Jesus is contagious to all who encounter him.
Cassie grew up in the Assemblies of God. She attended Toronto Airport School of Ministry and has a heart for prophetic evangelism and physical healing. Her passion is to reach, heal and restore the most at risk, broken and underprivelaged groups in our society with the love and power of God.
